True indie filmmaking at it's finest!!!10/10
I actually truly enjoyed this film. I LOVE true low-budget indie films and this is one of the best I've seen in awhile. Nikki Alsono SMASHES this film as Tank straight classic character. This is one of those films I will tell friends about when they ask me for a under the radar film to watch. I wanna see what Oklahoma Ward can create with a huge budget. I am sure he would make a bigger and badder classic than he already has with this low budget thrill ride that is amazing in my eyes. I watch indie films like these with no judgement just purely for what they are doing on a limited budget and this is one of my favs this year for the small market film world. Keep it up guys look forward to the next installments in this franchise. Go Tank she KICKS major A**!!!
Micro budget. Highly intense. It's a slow burn.7/10
7/10 to get the ratings up a few points. Otherwise I would give it a high 6 to pass the threshold of "should see" / "worth watching."

You have to judge it for what it is and the constraints.

The plot is entirely incidental to the flow.

The Descent, Beneath, Buried, .REC, Alien, Cube, Dead Calm, Open Water, Das Boot, The Vanishing, this takes claustrophobia to a new level, or depth .

It's not reasonable to compare those movies to Crawl because of the constraints. hold Crawl to that level of quality.

Don't fast forward it because the value of the movie is in the extreme intensity and claustrophobia.

My anxiety level built up to the point at the 2/3 mark I had to take a break and a sedative. If I'm going to have a heart attack, I want it to be for something really enjoyable that involved several companions and wreck my marriage! Just kidding!

I'm thinking the whole time how incredibly fit the protagonist is and boy do I need get off the couch. What a motivator.

A couple of improvements - personally - I would have made: no special audio effects. Sound, yes but not effects. Sometimes, less is more. That's worth a point in itself.

There's some obvious/blatant copy/paste from other movies. But they are not important. Just let it go.

Lastly, I watched it at 2 in the morning by myself. Perfect recipe.

Enjoy the show. Disregard the very high and the very low reviews and you'll get a more accurate/objective recommendation.
Crawl or Die9/10
If this movie doesn't inspire you to get fit I don't know what will. I mean what would you do if your crawling in tunnels (Pun intended) with an Alien on your heels, a desire to live, and with a mission that can save all of humanity.

Our heroine TANK is just not a role model for the modern day woman but for all you male couch potatoes who feel courageous.

Every second of celluloid in this film inspires all to get rid of the cellulite, pull up your bootstraps and go save the day no matter what it maybe.

Well thats what this movie has done for myself and a few friends after we watched.

I know longer want to be unprepared for any emergency after watching the lead character TANK muster up the courage to do what needs to be done with no complaint.

Not only does Crawl or Die give you inspiration to be adventurous but provides the flame for the independent film spirit.
A very impressive film that is an obvious nod to Aliens, however since every film centering on a dystopian world, featuring well-done creatures, is going to inevitably be a footnote to Alien, get over it.

I expected balls-out, sassy girl-power fluff and instead I received a harrowing, excruciatingly claustrophobic journey through a video-game landscape where the next level is more horrifying than the next. This film is a nightmare for anyone who gets even slightly antsy in confined spaces. The last few lines of the film were a bit maudlin but that's just hairsplitting. To be honest, I wanted to say the same thing when it was over. Tank is bad-ass, and a huge props to the creative team for not turning this into a feminist wet-dream.

An excellent surprise.
Fun and very claustrophobic chase movie7/10
If you don't mind low-budget and you enjoy sci-fi horror, then you might enjoy this.

I almost stopped watching at the beginning but decided to stick with it, and I'm glad I did, because once they get into the tunnels/pipes, it changes gears and becomes kind of unique The farther they get into the tunnels the more intense it gets, and it doesn't let up. There's no side story to cut away to, you're stuck with them, in the tight spaces till the end. I read somewhere this only cost something like $8,000 to make, which is a pittance in filmmaking terms, so I think the makers are to be commended for the final product. It won't win any Oscars, but it's not supposed to, but as a sci-fi horror film, it offers more than films costing a helluva lot more.

I've seen a lot of films, probably too many, and I don't recall ever feeling as claustrophobic as I did watching this. I read online that a Japanese critic called it THE MOST CLAUSTROPHOBIC FILM EVER... might not be too far from the truth. It certainly is relentless till the end.

I've noticed people are leaving a lot of negative remarks. I feel they're not really giving it a chance. Appreciate it for what it is. It's a comic book style action sci-fi horror chase movie, that delivers a prolonged intense chase for most of the film, and for the most part delivers a pretty unique experience. Watch it loud and with the lights out, you should have fun.
